Review of Let Me by Tracey Gerrard

Everything you’d want from a multi-genre book.

This is a new author for me, and I wasn’t disappointed. The book is classified as erotic romance, but there’s a strong psychological thriller element that’s right up my alley.

Jennifer hasn’t had an easy life. After losing their parents, she’s had to shelve her dream of being a wedding dress designer to look after her kid brother. He’s always been a good lad but is going through the teenage rebellion stage. Kids get in with a bad crowd sometimes, and the more you try to guide them away, the more drawn they are.

That’s where the nightmare starts.

Jennifer’s working all hours as a waitress looking after her brother and fighting off the advances of Zac, the good looking solicitor—who drinks an awful lot of coffee and won’t take no for an answer.

The book is tense, romantic, thrilling and heartwarming. The writing is strong and bang on-point for the genre. However, it’s the characters that make this book sing. I’ll be looking out for more from this talented author.

The goodies are very good, the baddies are very bad—and then there’s the shades of grey!
